This post might be completely inappropriate, but I've gone through the help
screens in FP 2003 and can't find the answer.

I am creating a website from the Corporate Presense Wizard in FP 2003.
Everything works fine, but I cannot find a way to change the background
colors on this site.

I know this is really dumb question, that has a simple answer.

Any thoughts?

try right click, page properties > background and change the background image or
colours there. That is, if a background in a theme can be changed - it may not
be able to.
