Playing Windows Media files in PPT

Hello,

I'm trying to play a .wmv file in A Powerpoint 2002 presentation. I need to
be able to do this on two machines. It wasn't working on one machine until I
installed Windows Media Player 9, so I tried that on the second one, and
that didn't make it work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Jeff,

Try downloading the WMP 9 codecs and installing them on the non working
machine. Down load site:

Thanks for your reply.

I tried the Codecs, but there was still a problem. It turned out that I
needed to update DirectX to the latest. Now it works fine.
