Hi all,

I am looking for a program to put in musical notes
and hear them playing, something simple, such as
three voices, efffects, filters, etc. Sort of PC emulation
of the wonderful ancient Commodore C64 soundchip
and programming?

My PC system is WinXP Home with soundcard,
speakers, mike.

Thanks for your help,

Siggi

it's not something simple you asked for but anyway.
You could use the Quantum 64 vst instrument:

http://tinyurl.com/5n4g5

you can use it with any free vst host. for example

Tobybears Minihost:

or Music Studio Producer/Independence:
