Hi all

Just a quick odd request...... I would like to save a PowerPoint
presentation to a DVD to play on a standard DVD player..... Firstly is this
possible, secondly what format would I need to save the presentation in and
thirdly would it be possible to advance through the slides using the standard
remote control.....

Hope some one can help me

Cheers

Paul

Paul,
Firstly is this possible
It's possible - but not easy.
secondly what format would I need to save the presentation in and
DVD video (vob) format - not something powerpoint alone can do
remote control.....
Again, possible but not easy.

We're just volunteers, mere mushrooms.

MS is working on Office 12, that much is public knowledge.

But even MS can't tell you for certain what will and won't be included in the
next version. If they wanted to. Which they don't. And if anybody knew and
told, they'd be forced to use PowerPoint 3 for the rest of their days.

There's a link to an MS public news site here:

Office 12 / PowerPoint 12 - What's coming?
http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/FAQ00723.htm

Check that every so often (or subscribe to the RSS feed for automatic updates).
