playback problems need help quick please!!

im pretty sure this started when i upgraded to wmp 10 but maybe not.
The "play all" and "play selection" buttons have stopped working. clicking
either button in the video tasks panel does nothing, and highlighting
multiple files and right clicking and selecting play just plays the 1 file i
have my mouse over.
please can someone help me fix this problem!!
