Planning system

Hello, I am designing a planning system using excel
spreadsheets and want to be able to have a 4 month view ,
my problem is then how to get the months to roll on, can
this be done automatically or will someone have to do this?

Well the company wants to be able to see jobs for 4 months
ahead, so when the month is completed it would be good to
have the system drop that month and pick up the next one.
Each month has to be treated separately because each month
has different amount of days
