Plain text color and size

I chose in sending mail plain text rather than html. I was getting Chinese
characters in html for Windows mail. The forums suggested plain text. When I
did the Chinese characters went away. However, once I change to 16 pt color,
I only had the color when I replied to an email and not when I composed it.
How can I achieve consistence in color and font size in composing email in
Windows Mail.

In HTML the chosen font is sent with the mail but can only be used by
the recipient if they have that font installed. If you send in plain
text they will see it in their default font.

If someone sends you a message in HTML and you read in HTML then, as
long as you have the font, you will see it as they wrote it, if you read
in plain text then you will see your default font.

If you want to send business letters or something write them as a
document and email the document as an attachment. What you send is not
necessarily what is seen at the other end, although if you send in HTML
is "Usually" is because most Windows users have the same fonts.

When you reply and the original message is quoted then what you see will
be in the same fonts as the original (unless you changed the setting
"Reply in same format" because that is a separate setting to the compose
setting.

I think I understood your question properly, sorry if not, and not all
mail clients follow the same rules so unless your recipient has similar
to you the above may not be correct.
