I just saw that the OpenOffice version in the PL 2006 is outdated: it's
the 1.1.4 instead of the 2.0 version.

Surprise. What is the sense in distributing with much effort an outdated
version ???

I wanted to do some publicity in the OpenOffice user groups I am
subscribed to but this makes me look ...

The OpenOffice file should be "OOo_2.0.0_Win32Intel_install.exe" - Can
someone who has the PL2006 ISO check this. (I'm still downloading.)

Yes, Susan, it is 2.0.0
File name exactly as you quoted.
Checked the properties of the exe file as well.
And when the exe is run it says "Thank you for downloading Open Office.org
2.0"

Per CD: "OOo 2.0.0 Win32Intel install.exe" (desc. rev.: 2005-11-02)
Have served >1 Gig, come and get it!

Sorry for the noise, I mixed the 2005 with the 2006 edition! (But I
distribute the latter one, with a ration of currently 2.02)

Thank you Collin. I imagine we'll find some glitches on the CD. Glad to
know that's not one of them.

Personally, that would be the sort of glitch I can put up with:- one that's
easy to fix!
