pixel corruption on screen

I have an unusual problem I have never encountered before. When I drag
certain open windows around the screen, or items on the desktop, it either
leaves trails of pixels round the screen, or the pixels in the active window
corrupts.
Similar issue when scrolling up and down web pages.
Virus scans do not reveal any virus infection

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Look for updated drivers for the graphics card.

Open Display Properties, Settings tab, Advanced button, Troubleshoot
tab, and lower the graphics Hardware Acceleration slide. Try again and
see if that helps. If so, you need updated drivers.

You can look on the Computer Manufacturer site under Support, for your
system and see if a driver is available there.
