Pixel based Text Control

David

Hello All,
Has anyone heard of a control that looks like a dot-matrix and that is
designed for user input (typing characters)? So
when the user types in the control, instead of windows font characters
appearing, the dot-matrix fills? The control I am imagining would have
X circles high, and Y circles wide (all unfilled) and when the user
clicks in the array of circles and types a letter "A" , the pixels
that make up the shape of "A" will fill in...very similar to how
old calculator displays look like!

I am trying to find something that mimics the look and feel of dynamic
message signs (the traffic signs over highways that inform drivers of
conjestion, bad weather etc).

Any help would be super appreciated.

Thanks guys!

Hi,

I would find a font that has the characters you are looking for.
I would set the textboxes font to that font.
