pivotable row keep manual changes after refresh

Hi!
In excel 2000 i have productnumber in the row field in a pivo table.
When users change the product numbers by misstake and then refresh the data
the changed product number remains in the pivo table.

It seems that the excel pivos remembers user changes in excel even after i
refresh the data from an external datasource.

Do anyone know how to make the pivo only show the correct data from the
external database.
