When should I use these? I created one, but there are
some fields (like Unit Cost) that I don't want totaled. I
can eliminate the subtotal, but that get's rid of all the
totals for all the fields. What if I just want to get rid
of the totals for one field. This is getting
frustrating....

Thanks..... Mark

Try right-clicking on the subtotal for that field, choose Field Settings then
change Subtotals - Automatic to None.

That gets rid of the totals for all the fields. I just
want selected fields to not have a total. Thanks again !!

But it doesn't though? Are you sure you are using the term 'fields' correctly.
Right clicking on the table and clicking on 'Show Field List' will bring up a
dialog box with a list of all the fields. Doing what I suggested for any of
those fields you can see within the table should have no effect on any of the
other fields listed there. It will take out all the subtotals for every value
or record within that field, but should not affect other fields.
