Pivot Table Underlying Data Missing

I have created a Pivot table based off a query and not a table because I only
want the last 7 days included. Once my pivot table is all created I click on
total policies for on day (86 for 05/03/2005) and instead of giving me a list
of 86 policies I get this error:
"Pivot Table saved without underlying data. Use the Refresh Data command to
update the Pivot Table."
If I export the query to excell I can create the Pivot table no problem, but
when I use the pivot table form wizard I get this problem.
Eventually, I want to be able to email the pivot table in excell format from
access using a macro.

Okay so I figured that out. When creating the Pivot table the window that
pops up with Layout, Advanced, Finsh, etc. well before you click Layout
click "Advanced" right beside it. At the bottom of the advanced screen you
need to check the box that is beside "Save data with table layout."
