Pivot Table Toolbar Greyed Out

My Pivot Table Forms have no Drag Areas and the (Right
Mouse) Toolbar is totally greyed out.

I had a similar problem when I first installed Access 2002.

It did not clear up when I repaired the install; it did not clear up when I
uninstalled and reinstalled.

But it did go away when, for other reasons (changing from the server OS I
had installed, Win 2000 Server, to Windows 2000 Pro, the workstation), I
used the factory recovery CD to restore the O/S to "as shipped" and
reinstalled all the software, including Office XP. I do not know if this
problem was due to one of the viruses I discovered I had acquired, or if it
was an incomplete install due to the viruses or some other cause.

I hope you have better luck than I did -- reloading everything from scratch
is a rather drastic solution

Thanks for the reply - I was coming to a similar
conclusion - I did an Office repair - it was no better.
The peculiar thing I have Access 2002 on my Laptop (where
the problem is) and on my desktop - I found it was okay on
the desktop!!!!
