pivot table source data expand to new entries when refresh?

I am working in Excel 2007. What I want is to have the new records I add to
my source data for my pivot table, to be added to the pivot when I refresh.

I used to do this with an Excel "list" in 2003. The asterisk row would
expand the range included in the data source for the pivot.

Now I cannot find the same functionality in 2007 Excel "tables" - these
replace the Excel list of 2003. Now in 2007 - I manually update the source
data with the:
Pivot Table Tools - Options - Change source Data command. What am I missing
to get the pivot to see the new lines of data on the source worksheet?

Thanks!

Hi,

It's still there, but it's called Table now. Highlight the source data and
choose Home, Format as Table...

Excel 2007 > Excel Options > Proofing >
AutoCorrect Options > Apply as you work:
Include new rows and columns in table. (Check)

I agree. This is what I needed too! Who would have thought it was in options?
