I have sales, Margin by customers for 2 years and also a column showing the
diffrence in Margin between 2 years. I want to sort the column showing the
difference either descending or acsending. Unfortunately the results are not
showing correctly. Is it achievable? My column is showing "Year" and the row
is showing "Customers" with data "Sales", ""Margin" and "Diffrence in margin
bet 2 years".
Thanks

There's no reason I can see why it can't be done. What happens when you try
to sort the 'Margin Difference' column?

No, I don't understand why the "difference" would be 2 columns. Why wouldn't it be just one? Is Difference a calculated field, or from the source data?

Regardless, the column you are asking to sort still should sort properly, assuming you are doing it properly. You should be right-clicking on the column header, choosing Field Settings...>Advanced...>Ascending>Ok out. Ensure the field you want to sort on is shown in the Name: box.

It did not sort. I tried in the regular Excel sort and also in Pivot table Row/cloumn/Advanced /Sort/Descending. As you know, the "difference" coulmn shows for 2 years and one coulmn will be blank, representing the comparison year.
