In Pivot table sort

K

Krish

I have sales data in a pvot table, columns Year/Month and in rows Customers.
I want to sort the customers by the highest sales dollars specific to each
year and not as combined. At present Pivot table only gives data in
descending order total sales dollars added for Year 1 and 2. Is it possible?

Hi,

No. The pivot table never allows you to break up a row of data. So for
Customer A you can sort by the value in any one year but not by
simulataniously by 3 or 4 different years. If you want to sort in the way it
sounds like you are asking, you will need to do it outside of the pivot table.
