I have a pivot table that is very large and I want to use a macro to reset once a user is done to show all pivot items. The table is 700+ rows long and I don't want to have to code each pivot item - besides I will not know the name of each item as the pivot table is updated.
I figured out that .showall coding doesn't work.
The only way I thought of doing this is having a backup pivot table on a hidden worksheet within the workbook. The macro will delete the pivot table the user manipulated and unhide the backup which will now have the show all. I then create a new backup and hide to repeat the process of getting a pivot table with show all.
Is there other ways to showall.
