Pivot Table Refresh Options

Under the Pivot Table Options, there is an option "Refresh Every __ Minutes",
however on every computer I've tried, this option is greyed out and cannot be
selected. I would like to know why, and is there something I can do so that
this option can be selected and changed. Does anyone have any suggestions
or experiences with this?
 
Yes you are right, the same problem I'm facing each & every time I have to
refresh data button.
 
That option is available if the pivot table is based on an external data
source.
