Pivot Table Calculations

I have set up two pivot tables on separate tabs in a workbook. The data is
monthly figures from one month to the next. Is there a way to to create a
third table that would calculate the variances between items in the two
separate tables?

The two charts look like:

Feb Outlook
Apr May Jun
Carrots 10 15 20
Corn 5 7 1
Steak 7 8 5
xxxx
xxxx
xxxx
xxxx

Mar Outlook
Apr May June
Carrots 12 10 40
Corn 10 2 0
Steak 9 1 10
xxxx
xxxx
xxxx
xxxx
xxxx
xxxx

I would like the third table to be able to change in size as I change the
information that is displayed. If I chose corn and carrots, the variance
report would just show those lines.

You could use the GETPIVOTDATA function to extract data from the two
tables, and calculate the variances. There are instructions in Excel's
Help, and here:
