I can add another column in pivot table but don't know how to
write formula to calculate the average of the next coluumn.
I use excel average function but not work
EVERAGE($L:$L)
It give me an error, not pivot tabel formula??
Any ideas are welcome.

Hi Daniel

Right click on PT>Layout>drag field to the data area (a second time if
necessary)>double-click on field name>Average

And if Roger's suggestion doesn't accomplish what you want, perhaps you
can create formulas outside of the pivot table, to calculate the average
of a pivot table column.

Thanks for response
The idea is creating a dynamic chart because of changes in future. In this
chart
I have a line of average and want to refresh data in excel and pivot table.
Dynamic chart will be auto redrawn. I have many charts so can not manually
draw one by one.
