why does my internet explorer keep on changing my home
page to some dam page i dont want (http://i-lookup.com/)
and also ands favorites to my list automatically. I've
run norton serveral times to check for viruses but
nothing. this is starting to piss me off. please help

stop using that insecure browser . and start using
mozilla.org "firefox" .much better.
also run spybot from safer-networking.org and update and
scan on easy. and use immunize and block bad pages and in
ie ,tools, options, advanced, uncheck both 'enable install on
demand',apply
browser hijackers suck the big one. need to round them up
and have a good old fashioned bar-b-que ,(a pile of wood
and a big stake to tie them too.

Download the iLookup killer from here: [All Variants]
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/utils/ilookup_kill.exe

If the Toolbar is not removed: use ToolbarCop:
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/utils/ToolbarCop.exe

Manual Removal:
Symantec Security Response - Adware.ILookup:
http://www.sarc.com/avcenter/venc/data/adware.ilookup.html

http://doxdesk.com/parasite/ILookup.html

Also, use Ad-Aware (www.lavasoftusa.com) to scan for any other spyware.
* Update the pattern file first, using "WebUpdate" feature *

Lavasoft's Adaware will take care of that with no problem
plus it is a free program.

I dont no but i had the same problem. if u wipe the
computer then you can choose your hompage again and the
problem will be gone, but u do loose all of your
information.

First get Adaware at http://www.lavasoft.de/ . Run the program and
click on the check for updates. After the update has finished, scan
your computer. It will find whatever hijackers or adware you have. Let
it remove what it finds.

Then go to www.winpatrol.com and download winpatrol. This program will
sit in your system tray and will alert you whenever a program tries to
change your homepage. Just click "no" if you don't want the change.
Adaware can then remove any offending programs you have re-acquired.
Make sure you update Adaware frequently. They have been issuing new
stuff daily lately.
