Hi,
Is anyone else having trouble with the Pinyin IME in Word 2007. I press
Alt-Shift to change the language to Chinese, but as soon as I start typing
Word changes it back to English - even though the Language Toolbar is still
displaying Chinese.

If I try to manually change the Language to Chinese (using
Review>Proofing>Set Language) it just ignores me and keeps the language as
English.

HELP!

You might want to ask this in the word.international.features newsgroup.

I believe I read in the help file and online that you actually have to
install the language pack for the os and not just word. I'm running Vista
Ultimate and need to write in French. The only way I could get Word to stay
in French was to load the language in the os.
