Thank you for the script....but it didn't work....this is driving me
nuts...is there anything else you can think of? I do not have the Roxio Easy
CD Creator installed...i just run the Windows XP burner..thanks for anything
you might come up with....Gene

i was burning MP3's and things were fine...then when i put in a blank to
burn another set i got a little window mesage "F is not accessible ...
incorrect function" That happens when i try to open a writable window for a
blank CD...but the drive will let me open a CD that already has been written
on and i can burn to a blank CD...any thoughts?? Thanks in advance for any
help Gene

I am in no way an expert at this stuff but I had a
similar problem with Easy CD creator 5 Platinum.
After uninstall when trying to access the burner with
blank medium I would get a similar message " F unable to
perform command given". Or something to that order.
Anyway after going through all the appropriate 'SUPPORT'
people and they were talking re-install I started
snooping around. I am sorry I can't tell you EXACTLY
where to look. I can tell you I found a remanent from
Easy Cd Creator in either the REGISTER, STARTUP FOLDER,
and in the BOOT LIST (the one you check with MSCONFIG).
If I remember corrctly it was in more than one of these
areas. What it was doing was asking XP to perform
something that was gone since I uninstalled Easy CD
Creator 5 Platinum. I hope this helps.

Thanks for your input, Rodney. :o)

I get them and was told by Plextor support that that is the normal
response for blank media. So I just accept it. (Plextor 40/12/40A)
