Hi

Is it possible to display summaries of data as a pie chart in access?

Yes, Access, up until version 2003, uses the same chart engine as Excel.
The 2007 version is different.

To build a chart, just start a new form or report, pick a table or query as
a datasource, then use the Chart Wizard to build your chart. One of the
choice for a chart type is a pie chart.
