Pictures won't open after download process

My computer was in the shop for virus elimination and now if someone sends me
pictures via email, I go through the usual, "do you want to download", etc. I
do that and it goes through the process and then the picture doesn't appear.
Something must be disabled??????? HELP please. I don't feel like
disconnecting my computer again to bring it into the shop to get fixed as I
think this is a simple problem; however, not simple enough for me to know how
to fix it.

Open outlook express (I assume thats what your using) click on tools then
security,
does the box that says
"do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a
virus"
have a checkmark in it? If it does uncheck it and click apply then ok.

As for the virus you had, what anti-virus program were you using?
Whatever it was it failed the test I strongly suggest you try this one.
