Photos sent by a friend, in the body of the e-mail are downloaded with no
problems. Photos in ads are absent, with a red "X" in the box. Help files
say I should...
1. Click Start, point to Programs, and then click Outlook Express.
2. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Security tab.
3. Click to clear the Block images and other external content in HTML e-mail
check box.
4. Click OK.
However, the "Block images and other...." item is not there to be clicked
on! I am using OE-6 and XP with Service Pack #2.
Thanks

Sounds like he sent links in an html file, not attachments to an email. He
probably got the reference wrong. Tell him to send them again, and this
time attach them.
