Picture not refreshed in Excel, Word and so on

Hello!

When users connecting to a win2000 terminal server from Remote Desktop are opening a excel document it displays only the excel frame not the actually data in the file. This could happend a few times then suddenly it works fine.

I can move the excel program around the screen and everyting behind is refreshing. I can also click the print preview and that shows the file and its data.

This happends from files at the terminal server and at shares from other places.

It also happends from Word and from Visma some times.

Is this a problem because of the limited 256 colour display?

Are there any hotfix or any thing else that can solve my problem.....

Thanks!

Have you tried updating the client RDP application?

Hello!

Yes I have. Did not see any different behaviour.

Is there an issue with the old RDP clients?

No...I just was going off a hunch.

Does this happen on all clients that are using this Excel
spreadsheet?

It is not my excel "spreadshit" that are my problem. This
happens on other applications like word and so on also. I
thought it was my workstations grafic card but nothing
changed after changing those drivers. Its like the screen
shot freeze and only sends some information to the clients.

Is there a way that I can do a refresh screen command?

Thanks!
