I have experienced the same problem and it appears to be
a new security issue when using Microsoft's Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer. This software apparently has
replaced an older version which isn't concerned about
viruses. But the problem is - the files I want to link
to my data base are simply from my own digital camera.
And yet, the software interprets these jpegs as possibly
corrupt and insists on a warning which can't be put
away. So every time a new page pops up in access forms I
don't see the image but only the name of the jpeg I have
linked to the box. This is very frustrating. I need
immediate access to these images so they can be quickly
previewed.
