Picture Gallery slide show

In Picture Gallery, Slide Show I get only the thumbnails and not the larger
image you are supposed to get when you click on a thumbnail. This condition
exits only when I publish to the web, it all works perfectly as it should in
'design' mode. I'm using Front Page 2003.

I appreciate any help you can give me.
