picture file copies automatically

When I open a picture file in XP and try to work with the files, the
pictures are automatically being copied multiple times over and over.
Any way to fix?
 
Yes, stop shaking your mouse. The minimal movement of the mouse
will create duplicates. You can also go to the Control Panel>Mouse
and change the sensivity.
