Picture Duration

In Movie Maker
In Options/advanced i changed the duration time,but the pictures still fly bye.
How can i get the pictures to stay opn for a few seconds before seeing the next picture?

A crude way, but it works, is to witch to time line and then just click and
drag the clips to whatever duration you want--it's a one clip at a time
process, but it's not homogenized.
