Pics on Labels

I'm trying to create Christmas mailing labels. I want to
put a clipart on the left side and then type a 3-line
address. I got the clipart on there, but the address
starts at the bottom right corner of the clipart and then
the second line goes under the clipart and so on.

How do I get the address to be centered next to the
clipart? I think I've done this before, but can't
remember now how to do it. Maybe it's late and I should
go to bed.

You have a few choices. The problem is that the default
for clipart is Inline With Text, which means that it is
treated as a large character. Any text you add will start
next to it, and any returns will drop down to the next
line. One method is to click the picture, then Format >
Picture. Click the Layout tab, and click Square in the
Wrapping Style area. Click Advanced, click the Text
Wrapping tab, and set the wrapping to the right side only
(This might not be necessary, but it won't hurt). Click
the Picture Position tab, and clear the box for Move
object with text. Click OK, OK. At the Layout tab you
could also click any choice other than In line with text.
Each one, such as in front of or behind text, will give
you some different types of flexibility.
The other (probably better and easier) choice is to put
the clip art into a table cell, and the text into an
adjacent cell. An easy way to accomplish this is to
insert the clip art, select it, then click Table > Insert
Table. Click Table > Split Cells and divide the table
into two cells. Drag the cell boundary so that the clip
art is in its own cell, and add text to the other cell.
To center the text vertically, click Table > Table
Properties. Click the Cell tab, and make your selection.
Now press Tab repeatedly to create more rows. They will
adjust to the size of the clip art as you insert it, and
the formatting will be the same in each row.

I am trying to print a picture on a label for the same reason,(Christmas) but can't find out how to do it, would be grateful for your help.

I thought I would print the labels with the picture only on it first, then do addresses and use the same labels. This probably is not the correct way though

THANK YOU!!!! hehe That was great to wake up to. I tried
the first option first and it seems to work just fine. As
I keep going, if something gets messed up, I'll try the
second option. Thank you for your assistance!
