Pics of MSN

I opened the setting of showing the people's display picture on the contacts
list. However, after some usage, the pictures just tend to disappear and
change to the MSN logo. Not only on the contact list, but also when talking
to people. After talking to people for about 10 seconds, the picture comes
back.

Greetings Ceowin,

Do you clear your Internet Explorer/Temporary Internet Files cache a lot? If so, this is
where the display pictures for your contacts are stored, so if you empty the cache, you will
lose these images.

Messenger won't reload them until you actually re-open a conversation window to your contact
or look at their contact card.

No I don't.... But is there any way of checking if it's done automatically?
And does keeping history for only one week affect this?

Hi,

No, the history shouldn't affect it. The configuration for this is found in the Internet
Options, then Settings button under the Temporary Internet Files option. However, another
application could be doing it as well.

K, here's another problem. After I put in a CD, it said something about an
error. So after I sent an error report, my computer froze. After pressing the
restart button and getting back in desktop, I log on to MSN and the pics are
gone again. Please help.
