Pics, logos etc all show up as red x boxes? How do I fix this?

All my emails for the past 5+ years have come thru just fine with any logos,
pics etc that are imbedded in them just fine. All of a sudden, about 3 weeks
ago, all I get are red x boxes in the upper left corner of where the photos
should be. Driving me nuts. What happened (so I don't do it again) and how
can I fix it?

if you right click on them, do you have an option to download the images?

Angie,

It's possible an update might have turned off your automatic download. If
you are using Outlook 2007, you can turn it back on by going to "Tools",
then "Trust" and there you will find the option for automatic downloads. You
can do the same thing for Outlook 2003, at the moment I don't remember where
that feature is.
