if you dont know what php files is then you dont need to open them in
vista...

there is no default program for php files in vista, rather if you install a
program like
dreamweaver then it becomes the default editor...
these files can be viewed with notepad

Why are lying linux losers like you doris always so very interested in
Minesweeper, huh?
Linux doesn't have a game like that?
It's too complicated and you're envious?
Or maybe you just need to re-compile your kernel huh.

As you guys say: "I don't understand what he is talking about."

php is a preprocessor for html files. I have no idea why he needs to see
them but I gave him a way to associate this extension with whatever he wants
to, perhaps Notepad.

What is the minesweeper.exe anyway? Is it a game? What does it have to do
with the php file extension?

I also suspect that perhaps he mistyped the file extension and in fact he
meant something different.

..PHP files are not associated with any program by default. You may simply re-associate them with Notepad. Or to remove the association, you may use this tool.

According to http://filext.com/index.php php files are associated with at
least 3 programs: Picture It! Publishing Project File, PhotoParade
Slideshow, and Creatacard Quick Prints Project.

Oh...geeze...so Minesweeper is the big attraction for linux users?

Minesweeper rulz, d00d. It's my favorite example of the power
of the Windows operating system. Whenever someone asks me why they should
run Windows I just start up Minesweeper and that's all it takes.

You should try associating the .php files with internet explorer (or what
ever browser you use).
..php files are use on web forums.
