Photostory 1-2-3 to CD

I just spent hours creating a Photostory from our recent vacation. It saved
fine on my computer, but I have been trying to save it to a cd to view on our
tv.

Is there a secret, or is it even possible to do what I am trying? Thanks
for any help!

To play a movie on a DVD player...you
need software that can create a VCD...
(this assumes you do not have a DVD
burner...then you might create a DVD)

First you would save your PhotoStory 3
project as a .wmv movie.

Next...you need to import the completed
..wmv movie file into a software program
that will create a VCD. Most DVD players
will play a VCD...check the manual for
your DVD player for compatibility. A VCD
is a Video Disk created on a CD instead
of a DVD.

I've had success with a program called
'InterVideo WinDVD Creator'...there are
many others...'NeroVision Express'...is
another example. The main thing is the
program must be able to create a VCD
or DVD from a .wmv video file.

FWIW...Photo Story 3.1 that is included
with the Digital Image Suite Anniversary
Edition Library has the capability to create
a VCD.

Thanks, John... that leads to another question.... my husband has a dvd
burner on his computer, but the file is too big to email him.

Do you know how I can get the Photostory file to his computer so that I can
then burn it to a dvd?

Sorry if I am naive about all of this - I'm learning :) Clare

What is the size of the file?

Possibilities:

Burn it on a Data CD?

Copy it to a Flash Drive?

Copy it to a Memory Card?

Could you upload it to one of the following
sites and let him download it from there?

"YouSendIt"
http://www.yousendit.com/

"SendSpace"
http://www.sendspace.com/

And if you wish to create a DVD instead of
a VCD you will still need Authoring software.
