I did the same exercise. Except it's 1.6388888888888888888888888888889 if
you don't want to overflow the available space.

Bob - It is just a math solution. 118 pixels wide divided by 72 dpi =
1.638888 inches. So it really make no difference if you select 118 pixels
wide or 1.638888 inches wide. They are the same thing.

Too Funny! Maybe I should have said "beared" with me!
You are all great= lots of great info. So I deleted all the photos until I
add them after I publish. Which is another story! So I follwed my server and
FP to publish my web and of course it won't take my password. ARGG I checked
the sensitvity and the whole 9 yards. Very frusterating.

It is just a math solution.

So, why go to the trouble?

As I said, Pixels are the metric for web pages, so that's what you should
use.

My primary reason for using inches at times in PhotoShop is because I display
a grid in inches over my pictures. This allows me to position my pictures
precisely within a "holder" in Photoshop that I also use on my website. I
can obtain quarter inch spacing, for example, if I use inches. I've never
played with that particular "holder" in pixels, but I guess it could be done
if I applied the previsous math equation.

Checked the sensitivity? Wah?

Ok so I was a little brain dead when I posted that! What I meant was I
checked the password for being case sensitive. :) But yahoo- I finally got
it, changed the password and hit reset which seemed to work.

I just ordered 2 books on FrontPage 2000. The
manual is ok but not indepth enough.

I have found the Microsoft Inside/Out series to be useful. If the books you
have ordered don't cut it, try the one for FP2000.

I have briefly used FP2000 after using FP2002 off and on for a couple of
years. The ability to open multiple pages at the same time should be worth
the cost of upgrading....

Thanks so much. You were a great help. My Olumpus camera has a great photo
editing program. I took your advice and in their program I could reduce the
pixels to 640x480. Worked like a charm.
