Photogallery vs Firefox

Wow, does Firefox ever wonk-out FP's photogallery/slide show. Sheeeeesh.

...........and 'wonk-out' means? Are you noticing a good difference in speed?
I use Firefox myself and can't remember whether they further compress or
not. Other browsers further compress photos ... which, of course, is not a
good thing. AOL is notorious for doing damage to photos. Here's an older
article that I have on my site. I'll try to up date it soon.

From what I understand AOL has it's own color palette.

BTW...Firefox is cool. There's all kinds of extensions you can add to it. I wonder if/when MS will update IE??? Haven't noticed difference in speed though.

You use <layer> and <picture>, neither of which is legal HTML.

You have the value "hide" for the visibilty style, which is not valid.

FP created that photogallery.

I was in a rush to get those up...just wanted to point out the 'effect' , I usually use JAlbum (which also has it's issues with Mozilla).
