Photo Story Blurry on WMV and DVD

R

RON

Ive made many photo stories before with no problem. This latest one is
slightly blurry on the WMV and the DVD. Just enough to be incredibly
annoying. I tried resettting it from "save for NTC For DVD" to "save to
computer" same result. I havent done a Phot story since Decemeber, many
before that though, is there something Im missing? Each Picture is affected
the same by the way. Also the Preview in PS3 looks fine. Thanks

Is it possible that the source files for this
project are lower resolution than files used
in your previous projects?

Maybe using a Custom Profile would be
worth a try:

Read your link on custom profile. a few points. 1) I used the same scanner
and even though they COULD be lower resolution, why would they be. Also it
wouldnt then also affect photos emailed to me, and ones downloaded from my
hard drive. and 2) even though your PapaJohn NTSC-for DVD "profile slice"
looks better than the PS3 profile slice. I dont see where (or how) I can
create my own profile for use.

Who knows? Different settings? I find that I
get the best scans if I use the advanced
options. And...sometimes with older family
snapshots the original focus was not that great
anyway.

Wouldn't_what_effect photos e-mailed to you?

I suspect your collection of photos are varied
in resolution and focus just like mine are...
nothing affects them all...they are what they are.

There are several profiles you can download from
the article but if you want to try creating your own...
try using the Microsoft Profile Editor (it's a utility
that is included with Windows Media Encoder):
