photo printing wizard in windows xp

when i get into the My Pictures folder i want to access
the photo print wizard but the print choice is missing
from the task pane that runs down the left side of the
window. when i right click on a picture and choose Print
from the shortcut menu, it actually prints the picture.
any ideas???
 
double click on the image for it to open with Windows image and Fax viewer
then on the bottom toolbar press the print button. The wizaed will start.

You can open the file in a picture viewing/editing program
like ACDSee or Infranview. but if you do not have those,
try opening it in the default windows picture/fax viewer.
there should be a print option there.
