Photo Gallery

I am using a photo gallery for design purposes only. When I run the mouse
over the photo, it changes as if the picture is a hyperlink. When I click on
the photo, a larger image appears. This is not what I want. How can I use a
photo gallery, but remove the "hyperlink" type of function?

JW - I have a hiking website (http://www.allhikers.com). In my trip reports
for hikes, I insert a thumbnail into my main story and then link from it to
the separate page containing my photo gallery.
