Photo Gallery Scripts - Need help creating

My website is primarily for my photos to share with family and friends and
videos of our African Grey talking.

I'm currently using Photoshop, JAlbum and Frontpage to show my pictures in a
gallery format, that has next, previous photo buttons type formatting.

What I'd like to do is create my own and I'm not sure how to start. Is
anyone using a program that would write these scripts that would be very
customisable??

Why write your own with so many good ones out there? Just avoid FP's

JAlbum is extremely customizable...you should be able to do anything with
it.

I've always wanted an African Gray or a Yellow Nape.

ps...I'd change: All Photos Are Mine...to Copyright - or at least add the
word Copyright.
