Photo gallery layouts

Is there a way of getting one of the gallery layouts to
display all of the thumbnails on the right with the big
picture showing on the lefthand side, when the thumbnail is
clicked? This is what my client is preferring.

No, only layouts are whats there.

You may want to look into JAlbum (free & skinnable)...very cool.
Google: JAlbum you'll find it.

will it work within an FP site that has a frame set? Do

It should, but why?

You're gonna lose real estate with a frame.

Besides I think one of the JAlbum skins has a left side frame if you really want it. Most people stay away from frames these days unless absolutely necessary.

Remember to generated the JAlbum photogallery to a folder *outside* of FP, then when done and satisfied with the album (you'll end up generating it repeatedly until your happy with it) --- then Import it (the entire folder) into FP.

It builds frames so I wouldn't put frames within frames. See my home page
for links to 4 new JAlbum galleries and I think you will see why you should
not put the gallery in a frame. You can run into all kinds of problems, I
think.

First of all, great article (Top 10 FP features to avoid) - Thanks. # 7
concerns me. I used Frontpage's included content and also used their
interactive buttons on a few pages... Could this cause a problem for some
visitors or am I misreading your note?

I do not know which article you are referring to (since you have not
included it in your response), but FP included content and Interactive
Buttons will not cause problems, except when they are used together in
some circumstances.
