phoshop with windows xp

Hi,

When I run Photoshop, when inialising, at the end it shuts down. I can't
start it and I have no error message. If you have an idea, can you help me?

Try reinstalling Photoshop, it does normally fix the problem. What version of
Photoshop are you using? Are you running XP SP1?
 
Uninstall and rebbot the re-install and JJ is quite
correct SP1 vs. SP2 vs. your photoshop version is very
important
 
I having the same problem, except Photoshop 7.0 runs fine. Photoshop 6.0
(which I use beacause of the bushes) terminates seconds into the start up.
This started happpening a few days ago without any provacation. However, on
the other user account All of them work fine.I am running classic, while the
other user is running the full tricked out shadows, bells and whistles. I
have XP with SP2, which was installed a month ago.
