Philips Webcam

Has anyone managed to get a Philips webcam (PCVC840K/20) to work in any
versions of Vista? It appears that all components of the webcam are
automatically included in Vista EXCEPT the video driver!! The video driver
is shown as an unidentified device in device manager.

The Philips Windows XP drivers do not work when run in XP compatability or
native Vista mode and the webcam's installation program freezes. When the
webcam is connected to the USB port, it is active as the webcam's red light
comes on.

i've got the same problem.. i tried running the installation in windows 2000
mode, it will run the installation. but after that it still can't find the
video drivers..
