PfModNT error message

I've just looked at XPPro error log and amongst lots of scary messages I find
this happening at every boot-up:

The PfModNT service failed to start due to the following error: The system
cannot find the file specified.

Does anyone know about PfModNT and I should worry about it?

PfModNT.sys is PCI/ISA Device Info. Service from your friends @

Creative - those rascals. I had to re-install Audigy2 Z5 a few weeks ago.
The file is sitting in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers so I wonder where it
should be?

I have two suspects for the calling program and one of them, CTHELPER.exe,
is very old so I'll try taking it out of startup.
