Hi,

I installed the personal file backup tool on my previous version of outlook
XP and now i have upgraded to office 2003 and i didn't find the tool on the
list under file as it used to be in outlook xp and tried to install the tool
for outlook 2003 but it says i need to remove the previous one and when i try
to do that it says can't do that unless the previous version is installed!!
How can i remove the old one and install the other one! Please assist me.

Dear Akef,

This happens if the pfbackup is installed under an other profile such as
Administrator or an other user. Find out in which user profile it is
installed, uninstalled it login in to that profile, log in to your profile
again and install it. Note that you need administrator rights to install it
but you can reset the rights after you done so.
