PestPatrol and AdWare

Any comments? I have PestPatrol, but they want money for an annual
update. Adware is free. Is Adware good enough?

it certainly keeps out the pop-ups

Not a complete solution.
adaware by itself is not good enough.
You need spybot, hijackthis, a good pop up blocker,
software/hardware firewall.

Could you briefly explain in what way it's superior? I don't fins
anything on their web site that tells me why I should want to use their
product instead of the free programs I'm using now.
