personalised menus

Hi guys,

a simple one here. I reinstalled my system and had my favs folder saved. I
added it into my set up and it is now 4 days on and the personalised menus
have not kicked in. it is still showing all the links. Personalised is turned
on in IE options. how long does it take for it to kick in? Do I need to go
through the list manually and rebookmark them to get it to recognise them?
any tips would be appreciated.

When you have IE open click the FILE button then Favorites the Explore
This will open the location of the Favorites Folder.............This is
where you need to copy and Paste those saved favorites to.
Where did you put them??

following your instructions I can't find the details. But this is where I put
them.

C:\Documents and Settings\Iceman\Favorites

sorry.....I forgot to state that the "favorites" need to be open in IE for
this to work.
The location is right if you are logging in as "Iceman"
You can also try to copy to the "all User" folder
